If you have a Rig Kontrol, Session I/O, or GR Mobile USB interface then you want to pick one of the correct drivers. To confirm what others have said, you don't need to install any of the drivers NOR the Controller Editor. There must be a glitch happening with this, because I shouldn't have to keep re-downloading this update. I have downloaded it 4 times now, but it still prompts me every time to do so. I clicked on driver options and that's when I discovered that I could choose either my MOTU drivers, or the Session I/O driver (this is in response to my second post).Īs for 4.08, I keep getting prompted over and over again to download it in the Service Center. I closed everything out and opened Guitar Rig 4 again, but forgot to boot up my MOTU, and that's when I discovered the window that popped up saying that my MOTU drivers weren't running, and then a window popped up with option settings. When I go into my programs, and click on Native Instruments, then Guitar Rig 4, I now see the driver I picked to install during download (Session I/O driver). All I know is that during download of Guitar Rig 4, it asked me to pick a driver to install it prompted me to choose 1 out of the 3 aforementioned drivers. I'm using a MOTU Ultralight mk3 hybrid (Firewire/USB 2) external sound card. I've never used it but I think it's just for the hardware. Still kinda confused here.Ĥ.08 is the latest version, so it's natural to ask that.Ĭontroller editor. Drivers? Are you using an NI audio divice? (did I miss that?) Though I have to say that if you have the floorboard I'm gonna guess the I/O driver as GR mobile is a completely different unit.
